Key Role in Data Systems:

Data Engineers play a pivotal part in designing, constructing, and maintaining data systems that meet organizational objectives.

They must be proactive in understanding the values and vision of the organization and adhere to all established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage.

They build and optimize data architectures and data models for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Developing Extract-Transform-Load processes to transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes is also essential.

Data integrity, quality, and security are paramount across all data systems.

Collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions is key.

Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and workflows ensure high availability and performance.

Documenting data processes, architectures, and data flow diagrams is vital.

Implementing and maintaining data integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow is required.

Essential Skills:
  • Expertise on Data Integration, processing & Storage
  • Expertise on Data optimization architecture, data process and data flow
  • Knowledge of Data integration tools like Apache Spark, Kafka & Airflow
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala)
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
