As a key figure in our organization's data strategy, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing cloud-native data architectures.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data engineering, architecture, or analytics, with hands-on experience on Databricks and Apache Spark. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark is essential.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture standards, governance, and security models, ensuring compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements.

A self-motivated individual who can communicate persuasively through speaking, writing, and client presentations, this role requires the ability to work in a self-organized team, iterate based on new information, peer reviews, and feedback.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing Lakehouse architectures using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark.
  • Leading the development of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration strategies.
  • Collaborating with teams to define data architecture standards, governance, and security models.
  • Optimizing performance and cost-efficiency of Databricks clusters and jobs.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and developers.
