About the Position

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components based on sound engineering principles.
  • Use CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify and implement cost reduction and design optimization opportunities.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Have 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Be proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD).
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) is an asset.
  • Excel in problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
