The Program Communication Lead – Sustainable Cities will be responsible for developing and implementing editorial and online communications strategies in close coordination with the WRI India Sustainable Cities program. This includes maintaining content for WRI India Cities web and digital assets, telling the story of WRI India Cities across a variety of digital media including web properties, social media assets, and working with program staff to create and edit content for blogs, op-eds, brand, and hard copy collaterals.
This role involves leading the process of key messages development and strategically weaving them into the narrative, as well as developing case studies for the team. The successful candidate will have excellent writing and editing ability to communicate complex ideas in well-organized, everyday language.
About Your Role:
- Coordinate with the communications associates and initiative leaders within the team and provide overall leadership to the communications requirements of the team.
- Lead the process of key messages development and strategically weaving them in the narrative and develop case studies for the team.
- Communicate with core communications team and work as the single-point contact.
