Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to lead the design and development of our cloud-native SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing scalable microservices, building and maintaining robust and secure RESTful APIs, and optimizing services for performance, observability, and security in a multi-tenant architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop scalable microservices for a cloud-native SaaS platform, build and maintain robust and secure RESTful APIs, optimize services for performance, observability, and security in a multi-tenant architecture.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead architectural discussions and decisions, conduct regular code reviews and mentor junior developers, collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • DevOps & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and DevSecOps principles, drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and containerization best practices, maintain system reliability and performance through monitoring and optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), knowledge of microservices, SaaS architecture, RESTful API design and security, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS, SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), caching strategies, query optimization, cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (S3, Pub/Sub, etc.), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Git.
  • Soft Skills: Strong knowledge of design patterns, clean code practices, and system scalability, excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the insurance or financial domain, familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, experience implementing API Gateways and access control models (RBAC/ABAC).
