Strategic Capital Project Manager

As a seasoned and strategic leader, you will oversee all capital expenditure projects, critical machinery procurement coordination, machine installation, and facility execution activities across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all Capex projects, critical machinery procurement coordination, machine installation, and facility execution.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Capex plans aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of Facility managers, engineers, procurement specialists, and site managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process of critical machinery and equipment.
- Drive and supervise the installation, commissioning, and integration of critical machinery into production lines.
Closely collaborate with senior management, engineering, production, quality, safety, and finance teams to ensure project alignment and operational readiness. Establish robust governance, reporting frameworks, and risk management practices for Capex and facility projects.
Champion continuous improvement and innovation in facility design, equipment utilization, and project execution methodologies. Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all project and facility activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualifications and skills include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related field, MBA or equivalent leadership qualification preferred.
Minimum 20+ years of progressive experience in capital project management, critical machinery procurement & installation, facility execution, preferably within heavy manufacturing or Engineering sectors.
