Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to oversee our AWS cloud infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for monitoring and administering EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. They will also have proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments. They will also possess strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and administer AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, utilizing backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.
  • Oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms, ensuring user productivity with tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.

  • Automation Tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
