Senior Land Acquisition Executive

- Identify suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects in the state of Maharashtra, taking into account factors such as technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.
- Lead the end-to-end process of land acquisition, encompassing scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
- Foster relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.
- Conduct thorough title due diligence to ensure the legal integrity of land through coordination with internal legal teams.
- Oversee the acquisition of Right of Way (RoW), mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific policies governing renewable energy projects.
- Ensure clear documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps.
- Track local land price trends, zoning regulations, and incentives to secure cost-effective deals.
- Supervise a team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants in the field.
- Address conflict resolution and resolve any legal or community-related land acquisition issues.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, law, or environmental science is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in land acquisition or a related field is preferred.
