Job Title: Senior API Management Developer/Jr Architect

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior API Management Developer/Jr Architect.

This role involves designing and implementing robust API management solutions, utilizing expertise in API governance, developer portal configuration, and subscription models.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent presentation and articulation skills, including technical documentation and guideline writing.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor teams in a technical capacity are essential for this position.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Integration implementation and architecture experience.
  • API management tools experience, preferably IBM API Connect (APIC).
  • REST API knowledge, API lifecycle management, security (OAuth, JWT, MTLS), and API gateway patterns.
  • API governance, developer portal configuration, and subscription models experience.
  • Certainly in building CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployment.
  • API-led architecture proficiency and API Management tools experience.
  • Familiarity with Observability concepts, Open Telemetry, and Splunk.
  • Familiarity with Backstage, Git Hub, and Azure DevOps.
  • Agile environments experience with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and articulation skills, including technical documentation and guideline writing.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor teams.
