Project Delivery Manager Job Description

The Project Delivery Manager is a strategic role that oversees end-to-end delivery of projects across multiple business verticals. This position ensures effective management of resources, schedules, and quality standards, while adhering to global project management guidelines.

This role involves driving project execution, managing risks, issues, and change requests to secure successful project outcomes. The Project Delivery Manager contributes to the continuous improvement of delivery processes and fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

  • Lead Projects: Responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Define scope, allocate resources, establish timelines, and set communication and testing strategies.
  • Manage Portfolios: Oversee complex, multi-line-of-business initiatives from initiation to closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  2. Analyze project economics, providing insights on cost-benefit and ROI.
  3. Proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies while driving corrective actions.
  4. Delve progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and executive presentations.
  5. Drive process improvements and promote efficiency, automation, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 7+ years of core project management experience in cross-functional, matrix environments.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and portfolios successfully.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
