PCB Layout Design Engineer Position

This role is focused on delivering cutting-edge PCB layouts and designs for various industrial applications.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled PCB Layout Design Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and circuit simulation models using industry-standard tools like OrCAD.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of embedded system hardware, power converter topologies, and signal integrity principles.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing analog and digital circuits with a focus on signal conditioning, sensor interfaces, and control logic.
  2. Working on microcontroller/microprocessor-based hardware platforms (e.g., STM32, NXP).
  3. Selecting components, designing schematics, and creating PCB layouts using specialized software.
  4. Ensuring signal integrity, thermal stability, and EMI robustness in circuit design.
  5. Developing DC-DC and DC-AC power converters, gate drivers, and protection circuits.
  6. Designing and optimizing motor drivers or battery management circuits.
  7. Performing power and thermal calculations, simulating circuits (e.g., LTSpice, PLECS, PSIM).
  8. Conducting board-level and system-level testing using lab instruments (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, logic analyzers).
  9. Collaborating closely with firmware, mechanical, and system teams for hardware integration.
  10. Maintaining accurate documentation, BOMs, and version control.

Required skills include:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in both electronics circuit design and hardware debugging/testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail and a focus on quality and reliability.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced development environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
