Electronics Engineer Lead

We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to spearhead high-voltage design, mixed-signal systems, FPGA development, and the foundations of timing, beam control, data acquisition, and power integrity.

This is a rare opportunity to work on full-stack instrumentation where optics, electronics, mechanics, and software converge. Our team is building India's first commercial Scanning Electron Microscope.

Your Role

You will be responsible for delivering the electronics that make the instrument feel instant and synchronized: a common timing spine, responsive beam control, low-noise power, and lossless, high-throughput data capture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design the timing and synchronization backbone so optics, detectors, motion, and software operate in lockstep.
  • Create mixed-signal boards: beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  • Ensure clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for quiet images and strong EMC behavior.
  • Provide diagnostics, fixtures, and logs so issues are obvious and field-debuggable.
Requirements
  • A track record shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics gear.
  • Strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up; pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.
  • Collaborative and documentation-minded. You think in interfaces and failure modes.
