The Reading Program Manager will drive excellence in literacy instruction, fostering a deep appreciation for reading and critical analysis of texts across all relevant age groups or academic levels.

The role will champion evidence-based practices, curriculum innovation, and professional development to ensure all learners achieve strong reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and literary analysis skills.

  • Independently driving the school reading programs.
  • Collaboration with teachers across the school.
  • Effective student engagement.
  • Parent and community initiatives and engagements.
  • Documentation and communication systems management.
  • Implementation of school reading program initiatives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the program effectively in real-time.
  • Reports generation and data analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English (Desirable - Postgraduate degree in language and literature).
  • Progressive experience in teaching reading and literature at K-12.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent presentation and professional development facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and its application in literacy instruction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
