Job Description:

As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for collecting tax forms and tracking client paperwork. You will prepare tax returns and produce tax reports. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in US GAAP general accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project deliverables and client engagements.
  • Prepare and self-review all types of tax returns.
  • Assist Experienced Associates drive deliverables.
  • Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
  • Manage and maintain the company's tax database.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
  • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.

Requirements for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's Degree in Accounting with US Taxation experience.
  • Inter CA, CA, CPA, or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification (or progress towards certification).
  • Skilled at building client rapport and working relationships.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
  • Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and other US accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
