Logistics and Transportation Expert


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics and Transportation Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation management and logistics processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Configure, customize, and implement various OTM modules covering order management, planning, execution, visibility, and settlement.
  • Conduct workshops, end-user training, and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure effective use of OTM functionalities.
  • Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documents, test plans, and implementation guides.
  • Perform system configurations, data mapping, and integration of OTM with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for OTM-related issues, including performance tuning and bug fixes.
  • Stay updated with OTM product developments and industry trends to suggest process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Oracle Transportation Management (OTM): Strong hands-on experience.
  • OTM Configuration & Customization: Including order management, planning, execution, and settlement.
  • SQL / PL-SQL: For writing queries, data mapping, and backend support.
  • Java / XSLT: For OTM customizations and integration components.
  • Web Services (SOAP/REST): For system integration.
  • ERP Systems Integration: Especially Oracle EBS / Fusion.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience in On-Premises to Cloud migration.
  • Reporting Tools: Oracle BI Publisher or similar.
  • Ticketing & Project Tools: JIRA, ServiceNow (optional but preferred).
