Job Description

A successful Azure DevOps Engineer will have the opportunity to drive the development and deployment of complex applications using Microsoft Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based systems using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain ARM templates and Terraform scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Ansible, Travis, Cloud Build, and Jenkins.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of containerized applications using Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes.
  • Develop and implement Helm charts for efficient application deployment.
  • Work closely with database administrators to design and implement large complex SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and MySQL.
  • Plan and execute DB migration from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in the IT/Software Services Industry with a strong focus on cloud computing and DevOps.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, CI/CD, Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and cloud providers such as Azure or AWS.
  • Excellent knowledge of large complex SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and MySQL, including database design, implementation, and migration.
  • Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and experience with horizontal pod autoscalers.
  • Good to have experience with Python, Nginx, App Gateway, DevSecOps, Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting.
