We are seeking a skilled motion designer to join our team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animated educational videos.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in motion design and video content creation. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, using their creativity and technical skills to produce engaging and informative videos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create animated educational videos on complex topics such as blockchain, tokens, wallets, and DeFi
  • Work closely with scriptwriters, product teams, and creative leads to bring content to life
  • Design and animate explainer videos in a style similar to Coinbase Learn
  • Transform scripts and storyboards into polished motion videos
  • Collaborate with copywriters and SMEs to simplify complex content
  • Create animated assets (charts, UI flows, crypto concepts)
  • Record or edit voiceovers, sync audio, and apply subtle sound design
  • Maintain brand style guides, animation principles, and reusable templates
  • Optimize videos for YouTube, app platforms, and social media

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years experience in motion design, video content creation, or explainer video production
  • Solid portfolio of 2D or motion graphic explainers (crypto or fintech domain is a big plus)
  • Ability to work under creative direction while also proposing improvements
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Web3, tokens, wallets, or DeFi systems
