We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a QA/QC Supervisor.
About the Role- Maintain a high level of focus on health, safety, and the environment, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Manage facility-wide Asset Integrity Management programs, providing timely engineering support for manufacturing operations.
- Establish and enforce integrity standards, procedures, and specifications for assets.
- Develop proactive approaches to counter threats to pipeline and equipment integrity.
- Participate in developing a comprehensive Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure its availability.
- Coordinate major shutdown inspection scope selection and implementation with the shutdown planning group.
- Ensure quality, cost, and budget control processes for all work carried out.
- Conduct or provide input into corrosion studies, risk assessments, technical audits, conceptual designs, and engineering changes.
- Track action items generated from C1MS or any audit.
- Organize monthly meetings with internal and external stakeholders, arranging and minuting the meeting and related follow-up.
- Raise KAIZENs to improve technical aspects of maintenance activities.
- Proactively participate in running Special Government Agreement (SGA) or Fast Track Implementation Project (FIP) projects to ensure successful completion and timely delivery.
- Motivate teams to involve SGA & FIP projects and provide support to complete their projects on time.
- Define protocols and cost-effective changes to lead to safe improvements in systems.
- Perform external and internal inspections of static equipment, including Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Heat-Exchangers, Piping, Safety relief devices, Structural elements, both in-service and in-construction. Implement Risk-Based Inspection (RBI).
- Prepare annual work planning and budgeting/forecasting to adhere to technical integrity assurance.
- Have suitable hands-on ability for various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, knowledge of welding and control, Hydrotest & Pneumatic tests witnessing, and other associated inspection issues.
- Manage inspection service contractors effectively.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and failure studies.
- Present management and external presentations confidently.
- A minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in technical and administrative roles in the Oil & Gas sector (Upstream, Refinery, Fertilizers), focusing on Inspection & Corrosion / Integrity / Engineering / Reliability Services.
- Full-time B.E. in Mechanical or Metallurgy.
- Basic understanding of upstream Oil & Gas Operations.
- Knowledge of Local statutory requirements and Inspection Task & Frequency.
- Ability to conduct or provide input into corrosion studies, risk assessments, technical audits, conceptual designs, and engineering changes.
- Experience managing major shutdown inspection scope selection and implementation with the shutdown planning group.
- Strong quality, cost, and budget control skills.
- Salary Range: ₹10 LPA - ₹13 LPA
