Plant Budget Coordinator

The job involves planning and coordinating plant budget activities in alignment with corporate objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering accounts payable services in a timely and efficient manner
  • Processing, verifying, reconciling, accounting and payment of vendor invoices, payroll, staff claims, inter-company payments, tax and statutory dues
  • Reviewing invoice coding to ensure accurate booking
  • Monitoring employee claim reimbursement and payment as per defined policies
  • Releasing purchase orders and ensuring correct flow of new vendors into the system
  • Timely vendor master approval with correct validation of TDS and tax codes
  • Forecasting and budgeting of overheads and freight expenses
  • Managing plant inventory and ensuring timely asset capitalization
  • Regulatory documentation for foreign remittances and preparing reports as required

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Chartered Accountant or ICWAI certification
  • 2-3 years significant previous experience in accounts payable and plant controller roles
  • SAP experience is mandatory
