Cloud Solutions Architect Lead for Public Sector

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect Lead to join our team in India. This is a national role that requires you to develop and lead a team of exceptional Solutions Architects and Customer Solutions Managers for our Public Sector business.

About the Role

As a key member of our country leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring success in building and migrating applications, software, and services onto the AWS Cloud platform. You will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers by developing strong relationships with decision-makers and enabling them to become 'Cloud advocates.'

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers, including Governments, Healthcare, Education, Not-for-profit, Research, and their respective startups. Our ideal candidate has past experience working as a Solutions Architect Manager or similar role and has a good understanding of Government, Education, and Research organizations.

The successful candidate will be technically capable and credible, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will enjoy learning and introducing new technology, as well as coaching and mentoring technical professionals. The ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly is essential, as well as a demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the industry's best cloud-based solutions architects by enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation, and speaking skills.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Cloud solutions architect community.
  • Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, proof-of-concepts, and other high-value customer-facing guidance and best practices.
  • Build deep relationships with decision-makers within customer accounts to enable them to become 'Cloud advocates.'
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience growing and managing customer-facing, technical pre-sales and post-sales resources.
  • Experience architecting and deploying production Cloud workloads.
  • 10+ years software/technology customer-facing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technical professionals.
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, tools, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
