Job Description

As a seasoned quality assurance automation engineer, you will bring new features to life and support products' move to modern agile and technical practices and architectures.

Project Overview:

We are looking for an expert in software testing theory, automation frameworks, and cutting-edge methodologies. You will work with mobile teams to ensure the quality of our products.

  • Design and develop all aspects of testing, including test scenarios and automation capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the product owner and development team to create acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure critical cases are covered.
  • Monitor test runs, application errors, and performance.
  • Share best testing practices and processes across the project.
  • Promote a quality-focused mindset within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated tests using various testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks.
  • Identify and report defects found during testing.
  • Provide input on testing strategies and approaches.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with strong experience in software testing, manual and automated. The ideal candidate should have:

  • 6+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong experience in different testing practices (from unit to load to endurance to cross-platform).
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of UI testing, REST protocol, and microservice architecture.
  • Mobile QA engineering requirements: Espresso, XCUITest.
  • Testrail, Bitrise, Jenkins, Charles Proxy, Postman, API testing (e.g., Rest Assured), BrowserStack.
  • Strong experience in Java/Kotlin, Swift, as well as its usage under a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, engaged in Scrum.
