Role Overview:
">- We are seeking a highly skilled Organic Chemist to join our research team.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Design and execute synthetic routes to prepare small molecules for drug discovery programmes.
- Track SAR and optimize potency, selectivity, and properties of small molecules.
- Perform purification and structural characterization of compounds.
- Troubleshoot synthetic problems and optimize reaction conditions.
Requirements:
">- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field.
- PhD in organic chemistry / medicinal chemistry.
- Postdoc in organic chemistry / Medicinal chemistry (Optional).
- 0-4 years of hands-on experience in working on bench, preferably in an industry.
Technical and Soft Skills:
">- Skilled in chromatography, spectroscopic analysis, and purification techniques.
- High level of creativity and productivity with strong synthetic chemistry problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in organic synthesis, conversant with the current literature.
- Effective oral and scientific/technical writing communication skills.
