Visual Content Specialist

TaxBuddy is seeking a skilled Visual Content Specialist to create engaging visual content for its social media channels.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design daily social content, including Instagram carousels, reels covers, short video graphics, YouTube thumbnails, story templates, and WhatsApp broadcast art.
  • Maintain and evolve the visual system, ensuring consistency across all social media platforms.
  • Translate content briefs into clear visual narratives, data visuals, and memes that are easy to grasp and fun to share.
  • Support motion and video creation, including lightweight motion graphics and editing simple reels when needed.
  • Iterate based on performance metrics, conducting rapid A/B tests to optimize content performance.
  • Collaborate with content, copy, and performance teams to align on campaign objectives and timelines.
Key Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of hands-on social design experience for consumer brands or media, with a focus on finance and fintech.
  • A strong portfolio of Instagram-first work, showcasing carousels, thumbnails, short-form graphics, and data illustrations.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator), with basic knowledge of After Effects and Premiere for motion.
  • Comfort with data visualization and solid typography and layout fundamentals.
  • Ability to work in fast sprints, manage multiple briefs, and deliver on deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience designing for WhatsApp campaigns and YouTube thumbnails that drive CTR.
  • Knowledge of AI/automation tools to speed up workflows.
  • Basic illustration skills and understanding of Indian tax/personal finance content.
Measuring Success:
  • Growth in shares, saves, and completion rate on carousels/reels.
  • CTR uplift on thumbnails and ad creatives.
  • Production velocity: quality output per week without rework.
  • Consistent brand adherence and reduced time-to-publish.
