Senior Cybersecurity Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity specialist to join our team as a ForeScout NAC Engineer. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension and includes onsite work for 5 days a week.

About the Role

This senior-level role requires extensive experience in administration and knowledge of Forescout NAC systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring client infrastructure and solutions, identifying potential problems and errors, and implementing incident reduction strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expert level Administration experience and knowledge in Forescout NAC systems.
  • Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify potential problems and errors.
  • Implement incident reduction strategies and optimize workflow processes.
  • Provide telephonic or chat support to clients when required and schedule maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes.
  • Follow handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity and report incidents where necessary.
  • Ensure efficient and comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requests.
  • Update knowledge articles and create new ones to document best practices and lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in administration and knowledge of Forescout NAC systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes of incidents and problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide telephonic or chat support to clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
