Logistics Transformation Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to drive logistics transformation and manage multi-site operations for hazardous goods.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of site logistics processes, expertise in logistics procurement, 3PL management, and cost optimization, as well as experience with digital initiatives to drive operational excellence.

This is a great opportunity to lead logistics operations at prominent chemical manufacturing sites and progress to larger sites and senior roles within the broader Supply Chain function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all surface transportation, warehousing, and site logistics operations across multiple sites.
  • Manage both inbound and outbound logistics for bulk and packaged goods.
  • Oversee logistics operations for hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with Responsible Care standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of leadership experience in logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and site logistics management in a manufacturing setup.
  • Proven experience in managing logistics for hazardous materials, such as chemicals, petrochemicals, or gases.
  • Expertise in logistics procurement, 3PL management, and cost optimization.
  • Digital initiative experience to drive operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidate should have Engineering Degree and MBA in Supply Chain Management or Operations.
  • CPIM APICS certification is preferred.
