About the Role

  • We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planning Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating routine maintenance work scheduling activities with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical teams.
  • They will provide expert support for project planning, estimating, and scheduling.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality work packages development in compliance with industry standards.
  • They will drive accountability regarding standard planning and estimating tools and practices.
  • The role requires delivering quality execution work plans and updates on scope status and forecast.
  • Candidate must collaborate with site representatives to determine work scope executed by maintenance teams.
  • They will integrate schedules into operating plans with Operations.
  • Partner with Asset Maintenance Team Leads to feed planned work into asset integrated plans and prepare for field execution.
  • The role involves developing tools for cost and execution forecasting accuracy and report on individual project and portfolio levels.
  • The ideal candidate will improve planning and scheduling accuracy and remove inefficiencies from planning and scheduling activities.
  • They will communicate scope progress to customers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Grow Routine/Planned Maintenance work process competency within the organization.
  • Ensure Lessons Learned reviews are completed for each FEL event and drive subsequent improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively manage backlogs.
  • Develop and improve maintenance resource forecasting for 5-year Work Plan and Budget.
  • Participate in hiring and organizational design as required.
  • Support succession planning discussions with leadership teams for the organization.
