About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Services Director to lead our medical teams and ensure high-quality clinical services at our hospital. This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all medical care and quality monitoring/accreditation/quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all medical care provided at the unit, ensuring compliance with regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Analyze department mix and consultant needs to optimize resource allocation.
  • Participate in tariff revision and clinical compensation patterns to ensure fair practices.
  • Monitor and rationalize doctor costs to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Rationalize surgical and medical charges to improve patient outcomes.
  • Oversee clinician-related quality monitoring, accreditation, and quality assurance services to maintain excellence.
  • Conduct medical advisory board meetings, coordinate clinical HOD committee meetings, and participate in infection control committee meetings to promote collaboration.
  • Communicate quality improvement initiatives, patient safety awareness, and recognition programs to enhance staff engagement.
  • Address consultant requirements, recruitment, and induction processes to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Manage personnel files, contracts, and performance appraisals for consultants to maintain a professional environment.
  • Review and address clinical governance issues and medico-legal cases to minimize risks.
  • Audit clinical billing codes to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Requirements:

  • MBBS + MHA degree to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a Medical Superintendent role to showcase leadership expertise.
  • Proven team leadership skills with effective collaboration in a team environment to drive success.
