Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Electrical Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of various electrical systems, including switchgear, motors, and automation systems. They will also be involved in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles and experience working with automation systems. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation and maintenance of 66 KV switchyard, HT & LT switchgears, SF6, transformer, motors, EOT cranes, Battery & Battery charger, UPS, PCC, MCC, Plant lighting & PLC, Electro hydraulic grab, and crushing equipment.
  • Maintenance and operation knowledge in gensets, electrical Panels, Transformers, isolators and lightning arrestors.
  • Maintenance of Soft starters & Automation systems & Basic operations of PLC's and SCADA.
  • Maintenance & Trouble Shooting of AC/DC machines, & Circuit Theory & earthing concepts.
  • Control systems & Automation systems
  • Protection and metering devices & systems
  • Knowledge in VFD & PLC applications
  • Knowledge of Encoders & feedback sensors
  • HV, MV & LV Power systems & equipments
  • Electrical generation & distribution system
  • Energy calculations and efficiency improvements
Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process industry.
