Transforming Customer Experience with AI/ML

At American Express, we're embarking on an exciting transformation to build the next-generation customer-first ecosystem for democratizing AI/Machine Learning in the cloud. We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our cutting-edge SNG COE team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML strategies to optimize the lifecycle of large language models, including training, fine-tuning, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to understand model requirements and translate them into efficient AI/ML workflows.
  • Apply advanced NLP techniques and deep learning models to solve complex language understanding tasks.
  • Develop, fine-tune, and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models for various applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and deep learning, ensuring the adoption of best practices and cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, NLP/Deep learning, software engineering, with a focus on LLMOps, MLOps, or DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of large language models, NLP, and deep learning models, including fine-tuning, deployment, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in RAG techniques and the ability to implement advanced RAG concepts.
  • Mandatory experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and deploying GenAI applications for complex data systems.
