What You Will Do:

  • Design and illustrate visually stunning 2D characters tailored for mobile gaming platforms.
  • Develop engaging 2D backgrounds, props, clothing, and additional game art assets that drive player engagement.
  • Work efficiently within a structured production pipeline, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality art assets.
  • Export and assemble final assets from source files, following technical guidelines and specifications.
  • Stay updated with new tools, techniques, and artistic workflows to continuously improve your skills.
  • Maintain consistency by matching existing art styles and accurately identifying differences across visual styles.
  • Integrate and test assets in Unity to ensure seamless in-game performance.
  • Regularly play our games to assess aesthetics, user experience, and gameplay flow.
  • Offer actionable feedback on visual and gameplay enhancements based on playtesting.
  • Adapt to new techniques as needed to deliver outstanding results.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills.
  • Experience in creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games.
  • Able to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline, ensuring efficient and technically accurate asset delivery.
  • Skilled in exporting and assembling images from art files according to defined technical parameters and protocols.
  • Quick to learn and apply new technical skills, tools, and workflows.
  • Strong aesthetic sense with a solid foundation in graphic design principles.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining thorough working habits.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about mobile gaming—with hands-on experience in designing and producing art specifically for mobile game titles.
  • Capable of matching a wide range of art styles and visually distinguishing between them for consistent and cohesive asset creation.
