Job Opportunity: IoT Tester

Description:

Join a dynamic team as an IoT Tester where you will be responsible for testing IoT mobile/web applications, backend APIs, and device firmware. You will create and execute test cases across platforms and ensure that the products meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of IoT mobile/web applications, backend APIs, and device firmware
  • Create and execute test cases across platforms (app, backend, firmware)
  • Log and track bugs using standard defect tracking tools
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and embedded teams

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have experience in IoT domain/testing, fundamental understanding of Azure Blobstorage, IoT Hub, Keyvault, Devops pipelines, DPS (Device provisioning service), and good experience with Python scripting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with embedded systems or firmware
  • Exposure to tools like Postman, Jira, TestRail, etc.
  • Understanding of backend services, API logs, or MQTT protocols
