Underwriting Enablement Specialist

  • We're seeking an Underwriting Enablement Specialist to join our team. As an Underwriting Enablement Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing training programs that enable community reviewers to accurately curate AI model responses.
  • You'll design curricula, run boot camps, calibrate reviewers, and feed structured feedback to data and model teams so the AI improves quickly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Design short modules (30–60 minutes) with examples, quizzes, checklists, and local-language handouts that teach underwriting basics to non-specialists.
  • Reviewer Calibration: Train anchors to review model responses/rationales, apply rules, correct decisions, add reason codes, and document edge cases.
  • Data Needs Definition: Capture missing rules/thresholds; draft data-needs specs for synthetic data generation.
  • Quality Rubrics Creation: Develop acceptance criteria, pass/fail checklists, quick-fix macros, escalation rules, and calibration guidelines.
  • Ethics & Privacy Champion: Ensure PII handling, fairness, and compliant decision rationales in training and review workflows.

Requirements:

  • 4–8 years in retail/home-loan underwriting (banks/NBFC/MFI) with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
  • Proven training or mentorship experience—comfortable teaching beginners and non-technical learners.
  • Strong grasp of calculations & documents: FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, credit bureau reports.
  • Fluent in English & Telugu.
