Job Title:

Senior Human Resources Strategist

Job Description:
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Develop and implement a comprehensive human resources strategy in alignment with business objectives. Foster harmonious industrial relations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process to acquire a skilled workforce, ensuring timely hiring and effective onboarding processes for new employees.
  • HR Manpower Planning and Budgeting: Assist in budget planning and headcount requirements for all HR-related expenses. Regularly review and monitor actual spend against approved budgets to optimize manpower utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Performance Management: Drive performance management and annual compensation reviews for the site. Train line managers on goal setting and sharing performance feedback, enabling informed decisions on promotions and compensation adjustments.
  • Talent Management: Implement periodic talent reviews and ensure development/retention plans are executed. Create and implement succession plans for critical roles, understanding talent priorities and identifying development needs.
  • Learning and Development: Promote a culture of learning and high performance. Identify training needs, develop training calendars, and evaluate training effectiveness in collaboration with the corporate HR team.
  • HR Compliance and Statutory Obligations: Ensure HR legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable statutory laws, maintaining records, and representing the organization at relevant associations related to Human Resources.
  • Labour Management: Maintain harmonious and productive industrial relations environments. Track productivity, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure compliance with labor laws among vendors.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Implement initiatives to impact key drivers of employee engagement. Lead wellbeing programs at the site to achieve holistic wellbeing for employees.
  • HR Operations: Supervise and review all HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Guide and Coach: Guide and coach HR team members to take on more responsibilities, manage stakeholders effectively, and develop future leaders.
