Job Title: Email Security Migration Specialist
This role involves the decommissioning of an existing email security firewall and the implementation of Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with email security platforms, Microsoft 365 security tools, and a strong understanding of secure email gateway configurations and migrations.
- Plan and execute the retirement of the existing email security firewall.
- Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365 features, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and threat investigation tools.
- Ensure a smooth transition with minimal business disruption.
- Document the migration process and provide technical knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to align configurations with organizational policies.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mail flow, filtering, and user access during and after the migration.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience with email security gateways and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
- Familiarity with secure email protocols, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and threat detection tools.
- Experience managing or supporting email migration projects.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
