Process Safety Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist to enhance our safety management practices in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process safety engineering and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining safety systems to protect people and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement process safety measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate safety designs into existing processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including process flow diagrams and safety data sheets.
  • Provide training and support to staff on process safety protocols and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to process safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in process safety design or a related area.
  • Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles and hazard analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as OSHA, NFPA, and API regulations.
  • Proficient in using process simulation software and design tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
