Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer to join our team as a Project Manager. As an Interior Designer Cum Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end interior design and project management services for corporate office projects across India.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Concept Design Development
    • Develop concept designs using sketches, reference images, and 3D models that align with client requirements.
  • Material Selection and Documentation
    • Select materials and prepare mood boards and specifications to ensure design compliance with building codes and municipal norms.
  • Construction Planning and Execution
    • Prepare BOQs, working drawings, and detailed construction documents based on site surveys and finishes.
    • Create and manage project schedules/PERT charts for smooth execution.

You will also be responsible for conducting regular site visits, coordinating with vendors, and monitoring on-site work to ensure quality, cost, and time compliance. Additionally, you will perform quality checks, prepare snag lists, and ensure completion before handover. Your responsibilities will also include validating site measurements, assisting in bill finalization, ensuring handover documentation, and providing post-handover support for maintenance and vendor coordination.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience in office fit-outs/commercial interiors, proven working experience as an Architect, and a strong portfolio to prove artistic skills. You should also possess expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards. Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3D Studio VIZ or similar) are essential. A strong imagination, visual awareness, and an eye for detail are also required. Strong communication and project management skills are necessary for success in this role.
