Job Title: Game Design and Animation Faculty

About the Opportunity: We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a faculty member in game design and animation. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing curriculum delivery, planning, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Management: Coordinate and oversee curriculum delivery, planning, and quality assurance.
  • Course Development: Develop and teach core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming.
  • Mentorship: Mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships.
  • Integration: Integrate programming modules (game logic, interactivity, AI) into course content.
  • Collaboration: Lead collaborations with industry and support faculty development.
  • Event Organization: Organize game jams, showcases, and co-curricular industry events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript.
  • Game Engines: Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender.
  • Animation Workflows: Understanding of storytelling, level design, and animation workflows.
  • Gameplay Mechanics: Strong knowledge of gameplay mechanics, UI/UX for games, and interactive media.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead teams, coordinate across departments, and manage academic operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
