We are seeking an experienced Art Director to lead our team of 3D artists and drive the visual style and artistic vision for projects. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, animation, or a related field, and at least 8 years of experience in 3D art production.
Responsibilities Include:
- Define and develop the overall visual style, tone, and artistic vision for 3D projects.
- Lead, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to a team of 3D artists.
- Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure art aligns with project goals and technical limitations.
- Develop and maintain the 3D art pipeline and production workflow.
- Review and deliver high-quality art assets and maintain consistency throughout the project.
- Create initial concepts, visual guides, and storyboards to communicate artistic direction.
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of art deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expert proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush).
- Experience with texturing and sculpting tools (Substance Painter, Adobe Creative Suite).
- A solid understanding of real-time rendering engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of technical art fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and AR/VR platforms.
