API Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer to join our integration team. This role is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in API development and a desire to learn and grow within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain APIs using various platforms (e.g., RESTful APIs).
  • Implement integration solutions using middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus) following architectural guidelines.
  • Apply good understanding of API security concepts (OAuth2.0, JWT), and principles of traffic management.
  • Work with foundational integration patterns, message queuing, and service orchestration concepts in practical applications.
  • Gain exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and an understanding of containerization (Docker) concepts.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, articulate technical challenges, and actively contribute to finding the best solutions for integration tasks.
  • Participate actively in Agile development cycles and learn about DevOps principles as applied to integration.

Required Skills

  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in API development and/or middleware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, and basic concepts of API security (OAuth2.0, JWT) and traffic management.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns, message queuing, and service orchestration concepts.
  • Good communication skills and a strong desire to learn and contribute to complex technical solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and an understanding of DevOps principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic training or certifications in API development and/or middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
  • Interest in exploring modern integration technologies like Kafka, GraphQL, or similar.
