Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tamil language professional to join our team as a Content Translator.

This role involves translating curriculum content into Tamil using our internal tools, collaborating with internal team members and external content advisors, and testing content and app features before and after release.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate curriculum content into Tamil with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external content advisors to review grammar, fluency, and cultural relevance of translated content.
  • Test content and app features before and after release to ensure the best user experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong command of reading, writing, and speaking Tamil & Hindi, with the ability to switch naturally between formal and everyday usage.
  • In-depth knowledge of everyday, conversational Tamil & Hindi as it is spoken in India, including common phrases, polite expressions, and regionally relevant vocabulary.
  • Experience in proofreading and editing Tamil content, ensuring it is grammatically correct, easy to understand, and culturally appropriate for Indian learners.
  • Access to a working laptop, a functioning computer that is capable of supporting video meetings via Zoom, and collaboration software like Google Workspace.
