Packaging Material Evaluator Job

This role is responsible for analyzing and evaluating packaging materials to ensure they meet required specifications. The Packaging Material Evaluator will be responsible for:

  • Sampling and Testing: Receiving samples and testing packaging materials, including cartons, labels, foils, bottles, caps, PVC, PVDC, blisters, and shippers, as per approved specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintaining records of material testing in logbooks, worksheets, and LIMS systems, preparing Certificates of Analysis (COA), and following GDP and cGMP at all times.
  • Audit and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring readiness for regulatory audits and customer inspections, maintaining packaging material specifications and SOPs, and ensuring compliance with data integrity principles.
  • Coordination: Working closely with the warehouse team for material sampling and segregation, coordinating with Procurement and QA in case of material rejection or supplier quality issues, and supporting vendor qualification activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in QC - Packing Material Testing in the Pharma Industry.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with pharmacopeial guidelines, regulatory requirements, and cGMP.
