Job Overview

A qualified professional will hold a graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, machine learning, or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists to carry out various activities.
  • Engaging with internal/external stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Coordinating data pipelines to ingest data effectively.
  • Ensuring data quality with proactive checks and resolving gaps.
  • Conducting exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and defining performance metrics prior to running relevant machine learning/deep learning algorithms.
  • Researching similar solutions before building machine learning models.
  • Creating optimized data models to query relevant data efficiently.
  • Running relevant machine learning/deep learning algorithms for business goal achievement.
  • Optimizing and validating these machine learning/deep learning models to scale.
  • Creating light applications, simulators, and scenario builders to help business consume the end outputs.
  • Documenting project artifacts and logging failures and exceptions.
Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python with a working knowledge of Python's numerical, data analysis, or AI frameworks.

Experience with Large Language Models (LMs), such as Llama, T5, Falcon, Langchain, or similar frameworks.

Awareness of NLP evolution history, training data creation, training setup, and fine-tuning.

Comfortable interpreting research papers and architecture diagrams of language models.

Experience with techniques like LORA, RAG, Instruct fine-tuning, Quantization.

Predictive modeling experience in Python (Time Series/Multivariable/Causal).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
