Electronics Systems Design Engineer

\

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Systems Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic systems design, with expertise in generating reliable and cost-effective customized electronics systems.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems that meet customer requirements and regulatory standards. This includes performing trade analysis of design approaches, engineering simulations, and modeling, as well as derating analysis.

\

Key qualifications include a degree in electronics engineering or a related field, with 8-14 years of relevant experience. A postgraduate degree or PhD is desirable.

\

Technical skills and competencies include:

\
  • Experience in product design and development from requirements to conceptual design to architectural design to detailed design and analysis.\
  • Strong knowledge of low-to-high power analog electronic boards, including power supply and signal processing.\
  • Expertise in specification, design, and verification of electronic boards, including digital functions.\
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as SPICE and ANSYS for functional simulation, signal integrity, and power integrity analyses.\
  • Working experience in product performance evaluation and product qualification to comply with DO-160/MIL-STD/VITA and DO-254 standards.\
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces, including Ethernet, PCIe, DDR2, DDR3, and Flash Interface.\
  • Familiarity with UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, I2C, SPI, and other communication protocols.\
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams, including mechanical teams for thermal analysis and enclosures design, PCB layout teams, and suppliers.\
  • Understanding and use of DFMEA, DFT, and DFM tools and approaches.\
  • Hands-on experience with Signal Integrity process using SIGRITY is an added advantage.
