Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support our team in generating high-quality research and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct primary and secondary research for baseline-endline studies, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in data collection and analysis.
  • Support policy analysis and research publication development by analyzing complex data sets and creating engaging reports.
  • Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Prepare research briefs and summary reports that effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.
  • Support needs assessment studies and impact evaluations by providing analytical and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement effective survey tools and data collection strategies.
  • Help maintain project databases and documentation systems to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Assist in creating IEC materials, including booklets, toolkits, and educational content that engages target audiences.
  • Support script development for awareness content and contribute to visual storytelling efforts.
  • Document success stories and case studies to showcase the impact of our work.
  • Create engaging social media content that resonates with various platforms.
  • Engage with online communities through social media posting and community management activities.
  • Provide research support to senior team members, helping them prepare client presentations and reports.
  • Support field survey coordination and data collection efforts to gather accurate and relevant data.
  • Contribute to project documentation and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in our work.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, MSW, MBA (Rural Management), or related fields.
  • Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in MS Excel, good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi & Odia, clear understanding and fluency in Odia language (reading/writing/speaking) is required.
