Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Invoicing Specialist to join our team. As an Invoicing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers
- Meet invoice delivery timelines
- Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites
- Submit invoices electronically via data interchange
- Understand customer-specific requirements in invoicing
- Verify each field on the invoices before submission
- Ensure all supporting documentation is attached to invoices
- Update accounting records with immediate invoice submission status
- Maintain invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files as reference
- Collaborate with the finance and invoicing team to accelerate invoice submission
- Send out statement of accounts to customers
- Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets
- Handle invoice rejections and credit adjustments
- Maintain SOPs for complete invoicing processes account-wise
- Support system improvements for invoicing
- Assist financial management in invoicing and collection of payments
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates or up to 1.5 years of relevant experience in invoicing
- Commerce or finance background (B. Com/M. Com/BBA/MBA)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table)
- Good analytical and logical skills
- Good accounting knowledge
