English Faculty Position

We are seeking a dedicated English faculty member to teach courses in their area of expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lectures, fostering a supportive learning environment, and conducting scholarly research.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our academic programs and curriculum design, while also collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives to enhance the quality of education and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Instruction: Teach courses in your area of expertise, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and other instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students achieve their academic and professional goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: A doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in English from an accredited institution.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in English literature, language, or creative writing, with a record of scholarly achievements, such as publications, presentations, and research grants.
  • Teaching Experience: Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver lectures and provide feedback.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
