Job Title: Assistant Pastry Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As an Assistant Pastry Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Pastry Chef in the creation and presentation of a variety of pastries and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare baking ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure timely ordering and replenishment.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen.
  • Assist in the decoration and presentation of finished products.
  • Contribute to maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the workspace.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in pastry baking, cake decoration, and dessert making.
  • Ability to follow and adjust recipes as needed.
  • Familiarity with kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts is an asset.
  • Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is beneficial.
