Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Specialist to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Microsoft Azure technology stack, proven ability in integrating data from external data lakes, AWS data warehouses, and enterprise supply chain solutions like SAP. They will also have experience in data governance and building data automation tools using Python and related languages.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures for cloud-based data integration projects.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines that can handle large volumes of data efficiently.
  • Lead the integration strategy for ingesting and harmonizing data from external sources, including AWS-based data lakes/warehouses (such as S3, Redshift) and SAP systems.
Data Architecture & Infrastructure:
  • Design and implement data lake and data warehouse solutions on Azure platform.
  • Establish data governance frameworks and ensure data quality across all pipelines.
  • Implement security best practices for handling sensitive data.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Bricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, PySpark, and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with API-based data integration for cloud and enterprise applications.
