Job Opportunity: US Tax Professional

Description:

We are seeking a skilled US tax professional to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position that involves working on US tax compliance, preparation, and advisory services across various client types.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare US personal (1040), corporate (1120), and trust income tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Apply US tax treaty provisions to cross-border tax transactions effectively.
  • Support sales tax filings and registrations for clients.
  • Assist in tax planning initiatives for cross-border transactions.
  • Draft and organize working papers for income tax filings.
  • Aid in tax audits with the IRS, including client coordination and document preparation.
  • Collaborate closely with senior staff and partners on tax strategies and planning.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and understand their business needs.
  • Utilize project management skills, particularly during tax season.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years' experience in preparing/reviewing 1040 and 1120 tax returns.
  • Public accounting/tax experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master of Commerce preferred).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with tax software (e.g., Prosystems, FX, Gosystems, Drake Tax) is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent team collaboration and multitasking ability.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous professional development.
