Job Title: Director of Quality and Excellence

Overview

The role of the Director of Quality and Excellence is to oversee the development and implementation of process improvement strategies across multiple locations. This position will direct a team of professionals responsible for client management, stakeholder management, RFPs, escalations, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans aligned with key clients' strategic priorities.
  • Support organizational strategic priorities by driving value capture through process improvements.
  • Build a high-performing QE team to strategize and execute process improvements.
  • Develop employee engagement programs in line with functional and business vertical plans.
  • Establish strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal stakeholders to drive improvement and innovation programs.
Accountabilities
  • Successful execution of Process Improvement Strategy.
  • Resolve critical issues - Identify and execute at least one key transformation project impacting client business outcomes for strategic client relationships.
  • Master Black Belt density.
  • C-Sat score on Value Addition and Contribution.
Major Activities
  1. Design domain-specific diagnostic toolkits and solutions.
  2. Develop QE capabilities for business development and support in solutioning for key prospects.
  3. Collaborate with business innovation teams and operations subject matter experts to build diagnostic toolkits for key business areas.
  4. Drive cross-sell of Transformation capabilities.
  5. Develop and apply diagnostic toolkits representing key business footprint.
  6. Deliver compelling solutions from a value delivery standpoint.
Requirements
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word Doc, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of call recording systems and their usage preferred.
  • Proficient with Minitab software.
  • Proficient with MS-VISIO for flowcharting/process mapping software.
  • Domain Knowledge across P&C Insurance.
  • Knowledge of quality systems (ISO, COPC).
  • Working knowledge of Transaction Monitoring (QA and QC).
  • Operational planning and process management to effectively plan, prioritize, and execute everyday QC operations.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, process improvements, domain, etc.
  • Consulting mindset.
  • Strategic focus and strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrates a global mindset.
  • Demonstrates an intellectually agile and analytical approach and thought process.
  • Is a brand ambassador.
  • Conformance to policies/compliances with auditing skills and an eye for details.
